At Tino’s, we want people to remember not just the pizza, but the people. We are looking for individuals with an attention to detail, a love for food, and a genuine interest in sharing this love with our guests. In many ways, the Server is the face of our restaurant, as the one who presents the food to the guest and the one with the privilege of asking “how was it?” Whether making drinks or turning tables, whether providing recommendations for dessert or just extra forks, we value our Servers’ ability to connect with our guests and anticipate their needs. We look for Servers who are willing to learn multiple skills, operate in a fast-paced environment, engage with guests, and (most importantly) help us create the kind of place where everyone likes to be—staff and guests alike! The art of making pizza is no joke. At Tino’s we are making creatively modern pizza with an attention to detail, ingredients, and flavor that has ranked us among the best pizzas in D.C. by the Washington Post and Eater DC in our first year of operation. We are looking for experienced or aspiring culinarians to join our team of cooks who bring a willingness to learn, an eye for detail and precision, a collaborative attitude, a love for food, and a dedication to the process. At Tino’s our cooks have the opportunity to grow a wide portfolio of skills as we not only make pizzas but also the many ingredients and other dishes we make in-house, such as our homemade pesto and sausage, our artisan salads, and homemade desserts. We prefer a strong cooking background, as well as an understanding of dough production, maintenance of sourdough starters, scaling, and experience with a brick oven, but are willing to provide training to individuals who are willing to learn and up to the challenge of learning the craft. Our Cashiers play a critical role for our team as they are often the first person to greet our guests and make them feel welcome. Individuals that take on this role will need to have full knowledge of the dishes and beverages we serve, and help answer guests’ questions and make suggestions. Our cashiers must be outgoing and personable as well as patient, interacting with the guests as they take orders. We operate with a user-friendly point-of-sale system, but expect that our cashiers will have an attention to detail and demonstrate a care in their work to assure that transactions are processed correctly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for an impactful role to demonstrate excellent people skills and an ability to learn and manage multiple tasks and large responsibility.
